I have visited the Edmonton Valley Zoo before, however I have not yet seen this exhibit complex.
There seems to be many indoor exhibits similar to the one above, is that true?
What about these enclosures, with regard to their appeal for visitors and animal husbandry, makes them impressive in your opinion?
The indoor holding areas are not much different (although far cleaner and arguably more spacious) than many farms. What is impressive to me is the aesthetic of the design, as the Urban Farm, Red Panda, lemurs, new restaurant and even the decade-old pinniped exhibit all follow the same wood-dominated aesthetic that is very appealing and modern.
