I'm not sure exactly why the pool was drained but we were more than a little annoyed about it. The Walruses were thus off show and they, aside from the Belugas, were one of the prime fucuses of the visit. In fact there was a huge amount of building work going on and considering the hefty price tag of entrance tickets, we were surprised that no compensation was offered for the rather significant inconvenience.
