A great view but a junky elephant exhibit that is not very old (2005) but at least half the size that it should be...at a bare minimum. How many elephants are at the zoo these days? 2 or 3?
I only saw two and wondered how they get away with that considering the AZA now mandates a minimum of three. However my friend @snowleopard is exactly right - it's a great view but a terribly small exhibit. He says at minimum it should be double size but I say at minimum it should be five times the size, and even that is too small for my liking (but I am a fan of huge exhibits and think elephants should have at least ten acres).
