The Barebeek is a creek that flows from Perk (Steenokkerzeel) to the Dijle river in Muizen (part of Mechelen). Two arms of the creek flow through Planckendael, separating near the Asian elephant house, just past a tunnel sifoning the creek underneath the Leuven-Dijle canal behind Planckendael.
