According to the present sign the Night Safari is home to bush thick-knee (Burhinus grallarius), tropical screech owl (Megascops choliba) and Tawny frogmouth (Podargus strigoides) and, in a separate exhibit, North Island brown kiwi (Apteryx mantelli). I only saw one bush thick-knee in here.
