It's a new feature where you can pay an extra £3 onto the price of the entrance and book a timeslot for a guided tour - it's worth doing at least once in my opinion.

That is generally what it is, I think there were one or two fish species in the back room, plus the off-show day gecko was in here. I get the feeling though that the species you see off-show are dependant upon when you go.
