Not to my mind, they were by the entrance and this is the other side of the castle. If they were kept here then I cannot recall it.

I thought it looked like the exhibit that was built for them in the late 1990s (I posted a picture of it the other week).

Yes the Celebes black ape were housed in this for about 3 years, it was of course the old hippo enclosure. Black and white ruffed lemurs have also been kept in here.

Seriously though, all the other photo's containing Zoochatters tend to be labelled as so.

I remember the hippo and I think I can remember the lemurs but the macaques don't ring any bells. Not sure why I don't remember them though.

Thank-you Brum and Nige. I have not seen the newest exhibit of course. It was the former Hippo site I was meaning (with no visits from 1974 to 1994 I missed out on seeing a Hippo at Dudley).
