""Blocked-off zoo rooms" - We all know a few of these hidden treasures.Great places to have a gossip, enjoy a quiet cup of tea (or something stronger). Maybe leaf through a good collection of old zoo mags, BBC Wildlife or whatever.If you have it to yourself, well done , and if not you are in good company with the other keepers , zoo volunteers or whatever.As I say , we all know a few and they are the best ever places to kick back.If you do know one , don´t give specific details here ; you can be sure some over-enthusiastic new zoo director will start making plans for some kind of conversion.Without giving specifics, do let us know what you get up to there!
