I have watched a lot of footage on Danish tv on this exhibit. It is small, but very good designed and the zoo works a lot with enrichment for the bears.
Yes, it is one of the best exhibit in the world, but if you come to Denmark, then take a trip to Scandinavian Wildlife park(Skandinavisk Dyrepark), their icebear exhibit is THE BEST in the world....
The Icebear on my picture is a cub born at 7th of december 2009....
Aalborg Zoo's polar bear exhibit is no doubt good, bit calling it "one of the best in the world" is probably going a bit over the top. It is indeed well designed but a bit too small to be ranked that highly.
