Very interesting, yellow grosbeak (Pheucticus chrysopeplus). I only saw this species once in my life, when I was a teen, for sale at a (now disappeared) pet shop. This was before I got my first camera, so I still don't have any photos of this species.

@Kakapo Thanks for that info. I couldn't find it in my Helm 'Finches & sparrows' although other species of grosbeak are represented.

Where did you take this picture?

@lintworm Yes, it was Walsrode. Still trying to sort out all the photos. I visited three days in a row so there's quite a lot to get through
