Between one of the zoo's main buildings, which also contains the circus show arena, and the goat petting paddocks is one of the Olmense Zoo's walk-through aviaries. This one is the oldest, the large wetlands aviary is the other and is more recent. This aviary used to be called the 'Outback aviary' and used to house mostly Australian birds, but now it houses a more varied selection of birds from various continents.
