Walkway at Highland WP, 10/02/16

The walkway to the new (additional) Polar Bear enclosure, currently holding the female Victoria. The walkway also improves the viewing for the Musk Oxen and gives on-foot viewing for the Vicuna, previously only viewable from a vehicle.

Thanks for the photos from this beautiful but underrated zoo. HWP is one of my favourite UK collections with quite possibly the highest all-round exhibit quality. Would there be any other contenders for that title? Living Coasts perhaps?

EDIT: I suppose you could also make a case for Trentham Monkey Forest!

Living Coasts is probably my pick, but certainly that's not intended as a criticism of HWP!

When was your previous visit to the park?

I've been twice before, in 2008 and 2014. Quite a lot of changes this time!
