@Summer Tanager We saw FOUR different species of wild monkeys on my trip, which was remarkable, plus we heard wild gibbons so technically 5 primates in total. Long-tailed Macaques are incredibly invasive, venturing into playgrounds, stealing food from golf carts, etc., with huge troops of them happily going into bear and ungulate exhibits all over the place. KK Zoo literally had hundreds of wild macaques everywhere.
Wow - thank you for that follow-up! I love monkeys; however, I know that they can pose a greater risk to caged animals than even Raccoons do here in North America.
