I appreciate Pygmy Hippos are far less aquatic than big Hippos, and a large area for grazing is a good thing, but I still don't understand why they don't give these at least a small outside pool or mud wallow, or better still, both connected, for use during the summer months. At present all they have is the tiny little indoor pools.

Contrast with the complete reverse at London Zoo- Pygmy hippos there have the enormous ex Lion sealion pool and very little landspace or grazing opportunity..
