I had no idea they are kept there! How many?

My favorite species. Used to breed in CZ last century but not anymore. It had disappeared together with other insect-eating birds like European rollers. So either I would have to visit their breding colony at outskirts of Bratislava or hope to see them during migration.

@Jana They seem to be new this year with Plzen being the only Czech zoo with them. I don't remember how many I saw, sorry. Wonderful bird, though.
