The pair were engaging in some courtship behaviour - bowing and bill clapping. When the male advanced the female played coy and walked away. Hopefully they will breed.
 
Is this the pair from Al Wabra, or was there an exchange with birds at Pairi Daiza? The Al Wabra birds went to ACTP in Germany, so would be possible.

I believe previous shoebill at Jurong fell foul of the local Reticulated Python population.
 
This pair came from Qatar, which presumably would mean Al Wabra. They went on display last month. The park's previous shoebill was fatally injured by a wild reticulated python in 2015.
