I have a lot more photos leading up to this. The young Orang was sitting next to the older members. When he noticed the little girl he swung over to the right before making his way across to see her. I say he I'm just presuming! It was fantastic to see her face.

Ramona was the mother of Emma and Subis. I think the female at the back of the photo is Subis, so the little one at the front is probably Kirana (but Orange Person and several other people are much better are identifying the orangs than I am )
I'm terrible at identifying them, but at least I can recognise Puluh! The only individual at any zoo I am ever likely to see who is the exact same age as me to the day
The orangs interact with visitors all the time and this sort of thing is an hourly occurrence, so while special to the individual, it's not unique or unusual.
I never suggested it was unique or unusual experience. I mentioned the other photos and description because Pertinax mentioned the use of artificial vines.
It doesn't help that at Chester the two adult females are two close-aged sisters, so they are even more similar to look at than is usual for adult females.
