These are some of the Halloween decorations placed around the site, I wouldn't mind if it was between the 30th of October and the 1st of November, but it wasn't!!!! The point of the title is why do I deserve to visit a zoo covered in that tat .
But it isn't Halloween yet, if it was Halloween (or a couple of days either side...) I wouldn't mind, just because it is October doesn't mean everything has to be scary, or halloweeny, the whole place was covered in this stuff! (take some deep breaths) All Hallow's Eve is the evening before All Saints day, not the whole month before! I condemn Halloween to the 31st of October and that is it (and anyway why is it acceptable to get sweets off strangers on Halloween, but not the other 364 days of the year?).
Anyway a far more important celebration is before then, National Dessert Day!
If you can't tell, I didn't really enjoy my visit here, and that isn't because I got lost trying to find the place, because many of the enclosures were too small (bats (the tenrecs and mouse lemurs in this enclosure had plenty of space), parrot cage, several aviaries, small mammals, one of the lemur enclosures (the two groups do swap, but still not accepptable to have such a small enclosure for a large group of lemurs), all of the chicken enclosures, goats, caimans etc.), it is definitely over-priced, many of the animals were kept alone, no where to hide from the public in many of the enclosures, stupid tat covering everything (not just Halloween stuff) among other loathings. I won't be visiting again unless they bring in some more rare species.
And finally; this photo was meant to be a bit light-hearted, and the title is a little over the top (although it did make me even grumpier).
