I shall make a note to take one on my next visit (February all being well). The Orang exhibit was where the zoo shop now stands (I posted a photo last week showing Peafowl in the shop, but it does not show the whole area). The photo I posted showing the view from Children's Planet is looking straight at where the Orangs were, but the view is obscured by parts of Children's Planet itself.
I have just posted a picture of the Coati exhibit, but it has the crucial area obscured as well.
It was just a cage with Huskies in it really - on a natural substrate and with some trees as far as I remember. I don't think themes had been invented then! At least not in this country.
