The long entrance road to the park begins with what is effectively a European-themed safari park, before driving around the rear of many of the paddocks of the main zoo.
The European section begins with a roadside enclosure for Alpine Ibex, which is actually a freebie - before the pay booths. There are then roadside enclosures for European Wolf, Red Deer and Wild Boar and drive-throughs for Red Deer, Roe Deer and three colour forms of European Fallow Deer (standard, black and white).
