Is that actually a white rhino? I know that the zoo definitely has black rhinos, but do they have two species currently or did they have two species in the past?
This is a White Rhino. The picture is from March 2012. I believe this animal passed away last year and that the news appeared on the Honolulu Zoo web page. The zoo has two Black Rhinos. I posted a picture of their exhibit as well. This animal was held adjacent (same exhibit?) to the Zebras and Giraffes.
