This is actually not a new exhibit or species. This exhibit has always been here and is located on the back end of Habitat Africa: The Forest that can only be viewed from the Salt Creek Nature Trail. It's almost unheard of as virtually no one actually goes down the salt creek nature trail. There is also another okapi exhibit that can be viewed from the trail.
That’s all for the back end of habitat Africa. Though there are a few more little things hidden away there. There’s the Dragonfly Marsh, which is a home for wild dragonflies to congregate in the summer. If you want to walk the trail in the summer you may be able to find a pair of free ranging Golden lion tamarins that are released there every year. Other than that there is a large Swan Lake and a dinosaur statue.
