I've heared there is a re-introduction-programm for this species running in Israel ( some Dutch captive-bred birds were send to it ) and I want to ask you if you know if Hai Kef Zoo is co-operating in this programm ? Howmany birds are there and have they already bred ?
The project was running by Israel National Parks Authority together with Jerusalem Zoo. Unfortunately, there were no budget for this project last years and I don't know what's going on this year. Hai Keif zoo keeps only one bird and it's not a part of this project.
By the way, do you have more information about the re-introduction project : howmany sea eagles were released in total and did they stay in Israel ? Are there already breeding results from released birds ?
