It's a male Polyphylla fullo, one of the most spectacular beetles of the Palearctic, ginormous and absolutely unmiskatable. What a casuality, it's the second report I received of this species in just a week (the first one was from my zone tough). Looks like this year will be good year for them. I only saw once in my life and sadly it was a female and it was dying.
