Wild Asia Binturong Exhibit

This is an excellent exhibit, with lots of vertical height and a dense, lush, thick jungle beneath the binturong's den. The Aussie climate helps, as the sunshine allows plant life to flourish all throughout the Taronga Zoo.

I seem to remember the Binturong could have some nice views of Sydney from the upper part of the exhibit!

It is probably one of the best small mammal exhibits in Australia. I loved it when I was there and was lucky enough to catch them active...something I've never seen at Melbourne Zoo.

I was there a couple of days ago - one of the adults was in the top of the tree and people in the cablecar could see him eye-to-eye almost!
