Taken Bialoweiza forest, 29th October 2014
At dusk I was finally rewarded by a wild European bison. This individual was later joined by two more but by then it was too dark to photograph. Behind the bison you can see the main forest area. I was told by my guide that occasionally at dusk and dawn bison come to hay fields at the edge of the forest to graze and that is what this one was doing.
