Happy memories. This brings to mind going into Frankfurt Zoo in 1997, and seeing a Red Squirrel near the bear dens that was in the process of raiding a rubbish bin.
I don't know who was more surprised, squirrel or German zoo visitors, by the bizarre spectacle of am English zoo nerd excitedly yelping "Red Squirrel" as my camera recorded the moment...
