This photo shows how close you can get to the little penguins in their exhibit in the Wild Sea area at Melbourne Zoo. I've had to crop it because I accidentally got a woman and kid in the photo but you can still see where they're standing. Around to the right is the pool and anyone taller than about a metre would be able to reach in and touch the penguins.
