@the racoon has spoken Relatively common around pockets of mixed secondary & primary forests that are adjacent to water sources like streams & the large reservoirs.
@birdsandbatsThey are present in a few countries, but certainly not invasive. Robinia pseudoacacia, Quercus robur and Prunus serotina are 3 American trees that are invasive in many part of Europe.
@birdsandbats I suspect lintworm meant Q.rubra.
Spent some good times as a volunteer pulling up black locust seedlings, really pernicious species, especially in open grasslands!
