I have seen them in a few U.S. zoos, usually in a section highlighting wildlife of North America. They are of course quite common and abundant in the wild in NA, so not a very exciting species to display in the U.S., but easily obtainable, hardy and easy to keep. This habitat at Tulsa is part of a complex that formerly focused exclusively on North America, but was recently redone to feature animals of various habitats from around the world. I had hoped that the White-tailed deer would be replaced with something more "exotic" like a species of forest-dwelling antelope as part of the change, but they have stayed. They are quite lovely and most visitors still seem to like them.
