As much as I love this part of the bird park, I'm not really a fan of combining species that would otherwise not be found together in the wild. I get the concept of displaying a ground-dwelling bird with a passerine but the Cabot's tragopan is a Chinese endemic and the bali mynah, well you know. I prefer thematic exhibits to be more accurate but maybe I'm just a bit nitpicky.
This is by far my most favourite aviary at JBP, with some very cool birds in it
And the best thing is, the collection has been in a non-stop evolution since a few years ago, when the park seems to have gotten back its "mojo". Hopefully the new incarnation of the park will be even better
