A rescue, Winky has found along the side of the high near Orick, California. She has both a wing injury and something wrong with her right eye, causing her to constantly wink, hence her name. She is unable to fly but is a skilled climber and jumper. She shares her exhibit with Dorsie the North American porcupine (Erethizon dorsatum).
