Wisent / European bison : Whipsnade : 16 Aug 2014

Bison bonasus adults and calf.

Would I be correct in assuming Whipsnade currently have four adult European Bison+ this new calf, the first born there for many years?

This would be an older pair(including a now non-breeding cow) plus the two younger females more recently arrived, one of which has bred with the older bull. Or is it some other grouping?s

Almost correct - it's the older pair plus 3 new females brought in late last year
