World of Birds: Bird nursery. June 12, 2022. As with the reptile house, the zoo has a window into the nursery room of World of Birds. Here, incubating eggs and sometimes hatchlings can be viewed by the public. At the time of visiting, young Pied Avocet, Red Bird-of-Paradise, and Many-Colored Fruit-Dove could be seen here. A few weeks later, Guam Rail hatchlings replaced the avocet in the display pictured here.
