Wolf Exhibit at Madrid Zoo Aquarium, 26/05/11

The Canadian Timber Wolves had sensibly taken to the shade.

There were Iberian wolves here before.

Thanks for that - it did seem a bit odd that with Spanish Ibex, Spanish Red Deer, Spanish Imperial Eagles and even Spanish Eagle Owls according to Zootierliste, they wouldn't have the local wolf subspecies when it is fairly readily available in zoos. I wonder why the change.
