The muskox moved to Chomutov in 2021. The reindeer used to live in an area that is now mostly part of the pampas exhibit. The current reindeer exhibit is the former muskox exhibit plus a small part of the previous reindeer exhibit, and has two parts separated by a walkway with a bridge.

@DelacoursLangur I don't know about that, but one of the sources I saw did mention that the muskox seem to be doing better and staying healthier there. If that is indeed the case I would say the decision was correct.

@DelacoursLangur Chomutov has a more continental climate, so while summers are still warm, the winters are colder too and importantly humidity is also a lot lower. Dutch winters can be very wet affairs, with almost zero snow and a lot of drizzle...
