Will you do a review of the place?

Looks interesting place. Lots of enclosures look like a someone's backyard here! :D

Yes, I definitely plan to. I'm was considering just going ahead and starting a summer trip thread and rolling it into that, but then I'd have a long gap of inactivity before I went anywhere else interesting. I should have just made a full-year thread, but as the year is almost halfway over, I probably won't. In short: a review is coming, and I don't know when.

This park has an interesting history, in that the breeding center existed years before the park did. The park was actually opened to prevent bankruptcy, after scrambled fundraising within a few of the AZA member institutions who actually noticed the collection for what it was. It is certainly functional, but new exhibits are added relatively frequently and they are of a higher quality. I look forward to seeing its future developments.
