First of all, thanks for the photos! Judging by the viewing total there are many ZooChatters salivating at the moment. Also, was there a much greater emphasis on the indoor accommodation for the giant pandas? It seems as if that is the focus, and is there the feeling that the bears will spend most of their time indoors?
You're most welcome snowleopard. Given the brutal climate in Singapore (86 degrees and 90% humidity year-round), the pandas have to be housed indoors all the time (similar to the panda exhibits in Hong Kong, Macau and Thailand). The indoor temperature is maintained at a comfortable 68 degrees. The outdoor yards were included as a sort of enrichment for the bears.
