P P Panthera Puss 6 Jun 2009 The Nine-Banded appears to have a much thinner, more pointed head, unlike this one which is much more flattened and armoured. So this looks definitely a 'Yellow' although I stand to be corrected, as always!

Toddy 6 Jun 2009 I am absolutely 100 % sure that this is a yellow armadillo. They are quite easy to tell from the nine-banded.
