The Chinese grosbeaks were indeed on show when I visited with me seeing one female individual in the Gems of the Jungle walkthrough aviary. She stayed still enough for me to snap some photos too.
Awesome! They're so beautiful and ZTL says Newquay is the only place in the world that they're kept! As a bird nerd I really want to visit to see them.
