@ThylacineAlive You're right, my bad. I've heard Yellow-hooded for Xanthocephalus xanthocephalus a few times. Looking it up though, the bird is definitely X. xanthocephalus.
@ThylacineAlive These aviaries are not bts and visible from a pathway. The area is called "Hinter den Kulissen" (Behind the Scenes) because you can view (from a distance) some of the breeding aviaries of the park and there are signs highlighting the conservation work they do.
Thanks a lot for the help guys! Yellow-headed blackbird is currently not listed by Ztl as being kept anywhere in Europe at the moment, so this is another unique (to Europe) species for Walsrode.
@ThylacineAlive You basically can't miss them. There is a large sign pinpointing the path that leads to them. It is approximately half way between the parrot house and the lorikeet/toucanet house. White-winged trumpeters and Guyana toucanets, among others, are in this row of aviaries as well.
