Young male muriqui

A dream to see!

@CheeseChameleon2007 Totally, these primates are both critically endangered and very rare in captivity (and impossible to see outside of Brazil).

They are also very interesting animals to watch as they are very active and there is never a dull moment with them.

@Onychorhynchus coronatus Wow. A really cool species! Out of interest, which species is this?
Southern Muruiqi or Northern Muruiqi?

@CheeseChameleon2007 They are all Southern muriquis at Sorocaba and indeed most of the zoos open to the public in Brazil

@Onychorhynchus coronatus Yeah thats what I thought. Northerns might prefer it in front of windows, but some might just enjoy the cold.

I can explain the clue if you want.

Alright. The Northern Muriqui is one of the species in My dream zoo, and you'll see what I mean about some might enjoy the cold. And If you match the Numbers with letters it spells dream zoo.
So 1 is A, 2 is B, and all the way to 25.
I actually put out 5 other clues in threads and media. It might be fun to try to find them.
I'll give you a hint. Look through my posts in Which venomous mammal interests you most: the solenodon or the loris ? (poll) There is one there.

@CheeseChameleon2007 A colleague of mine works with this species in the wild and they also have some rescued animals in a captive facility.

I think those are the only ones that I know of in captivity. The southern muriqui is held by many more institutions but I still think that it could be held and bred by more.
