Young Parma Wallaby

Hamerton, August 3rd 2019
A lot of focus at Hamerton is rightly on the more unusual species' nd the more unusual marsupials in particular. However, I find the Parma Wallabies, which seem to pop up everywhere, fantastically enjoyable to watch as well. This youngster - one of a number, apparently - looks hardly old enough to be out and about.

@sooty mangabey I think it helps that they have so much space! You often see them in smaller exhibits, where they hide in the corner and such. At Hamerton, you'll always see many individuals moving around at quite a speed!
