Yukon Bay, Polar Bear exhibit

This is an example of a themed exhibit that is successful for the animals. It's a wonderful polar bear habitat and also a nicely constructed Canadian landscape. :) The penguin exhibit is awkward and somewhat random, but I loved seeing the bears, the wave machine working and the expertly-done rockwork when I visited Hannover in 2019.

Completely agree @snowleopard. Very impressive exhibit ! Those two criteria rearly match, let alone on a such a big scale. The people, who created Yukon bay, knew what they are doing in most of the cases, but they shine with the Polar Bears. Caribou touch is also very cool.

@KevinB I am almost certain that Yukon bay is good enough reason to visit Hannover, especially if you are in Northern Germany. The other parts of the zoo are not as impressive, but they also have their devoted public.
