Hello i am yupik. I arrived at the zoo with 3 months of age, 20 years ago, as an orphan. Bears are solitary and territorial animals. In the wild we live on the average 25 years and in captivity until 35. All my life this zoo has been my territory and i feel completely safe here.
I am a signiture species and morelia is proud to be my home, since there are only 4 mexican zoos have polar bears.
