Parrotsandrew 26 Nov 2014 Wasn't there a discussion about these Zebras? Did they arrive from Blackbrook and it was on a thread for that collection?

Tim May 27 Nov 2014 This looks to me very much like the zebra in this photograph:- http://www.zoochat.com/192/plains-zebra-blackbrook-31st-july-2011-a-226441/ which was labelled as a Damara zebra - although had far more stripes on its legs that is typical for that form.

Click to expand... Stripe pattern is an exact match. What looks odd on this animal is the combination of very heavily striped legs, with shadow stripes on the body. The leg stripes aren't usually as heavy in a Chapmans, and often faint or absent in Damara.
