One of two Common Pheasant subspecies that the zoo holds which begin with a \'z\' . (The other is of course Zarudny\'s Pheasant)
zerafschanicus is a toponym not an eponym (refers to the Zerafshan Valley in Uzbekistan), so it's the 'Zerafshan Pheasant' rather than 'Zeravshan's Pheasant'.
