The tank for archerfish inside the Aquarium in ZOO Antwerpen. This tank was the focus of great attention from visitors as a plant crawling with live grasshoppers had been hung over the water and the archerfish were giving a great display of hunting techniques. This, one of the oldest Aquariums in the world, houses a large variety of tropical fish, including, small sharks, rays and many more.
The Aquarium was originally opened in 1910 and later renovated in 2011.
