The indoor exhibit for Mexican green military macaws (Ara militaris mexicana), a species that the KMDA runs the ESB programme for, inside the Bird House in ZOO Antwerpen. The wide doors can be opened to the outdoor aviary essentially making it one exhibit during the summer.
The Bird House opened in 1948 and houses a huge variety of tropical birds ranging from the common to the very rare.
