The entrance to ZOO Antwerpen located in the absolute city centre of Antwerp right up against the central station. Together with Planckendael it is managed by the KMDA (Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp). ZOO Antwerp is one of the oldest zoos in the world founded in 1843 and has an area of 11.5 hectares. It is one of the most traditional city zoos in Europe.
